Welcome to second grade at Tovashal Elementary! We look forward to getting to know your family and partnering together to make this a tremendous school year.
My name is Mrs. Brandt. I am a native of Temecula. I attended San Diego State University and earned my B.A. in Liberal Studies (Education) and a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential. I also have my M.S. in Curriculum Design and Instruction. This will be my 15th year teaching. Previously, I have taught in Seoul, Singapore and San Diego!
My aim is to inspire a love of learning and an inquiring mind in each of the students I have the honor of teaching.
I have high expectations of my students. We live Tovashal's Six Pillars of Character every day. We communicate using accountable talk and follow our class ‘Essential Agreement’ that we co-construct at the beginning of the year. We uphold our school's KAFOOTY acronym because it keeps us happy and safe.
We welcome and encourage you to be actively involved in our learning community this year. Together we can make it an incredible year!
