Principal's Message

Welcome to the Tovashal Elementary School website!

Greetings families,

I am excited to join the Tovashal learning community! 

My commitment to our community and school district runs deep, rooted in both professional dedication and personal investment. As a family, we have entrusted our own children’s education to MVUSD and its outstanding educators, so we understand firsthand the hopes and expectations families bring to our schools.

Since 2001, I have had the privilege of serving across multiple school sites and our district support center, spending thousands of hours in classrooms where I’ve witnessed the extraordinary moments that define great education. From that front-row seat, I’ve seen the spark of understanding light up students’ eyes, watched teachers and support staff transform challenges into opportunities, and observed the daily magic that happens when dedicated educators meet the needs of eager minds.

This dual perspective as both an educator and a parent within our learning community has strengthened my resolve to support excellence for each and every student. I am honored for the opportunity to serve our Tovashal community!

I firmly believe that the strongest educational outcomes emerge from the collective wisdom and intentional dedication of our entire learning community working in harmony toward our common goals. I warmly invite every member of our community to take on active roles on our campus, whether through volunteering, participating in school events, or joining committees, advisories and decision-making processes. Please never hesitate to reach out to me, whether you have input to share, questions, feedback to offer, or innovative ideas that could benefit our scholars. Your voice matters, and I am committed to creating spaces where every perspective is heard, respected, and woven into our collective efforts to serve every child in our care.
